Tina Holon, Reception
Tina joined the SOAH family in August 2018. She came to us with 9 years of experience serving as client service manage at an emergency veterinary clinic in New Jersey. When she had the opportunity to work in the community where she lives with her family, doing the work that she loves, she decided to join our team and we couldn't be more thrilled! Tina grew up in Sea Isle City, NJ and moved to Little Egg when she married her husband, Mike, in 2012. They have a funny and feisty four year old daughter named Stella. Family pets include a cat named Blaze and a dog named Guinness. When Tina isn't at work, she enjoys going to the beach and boardwalks, making homemade wine with her family, and all things Disney!

Kimberly Whealton, Veterinary Technician
Kim is a Veterinary Technicians here at Southern Ocean Animal Hospital and has been part of our team since 1989, shortly after we opened. She is a lifelong resident of the Tuckerton area. Growing up, Kim was “that” kid that brought home every sick and injured animal so it is no surprise that she chose a career taking care of animals. She ran a dog obedience class for 20 years. She has been very active for many years in therapy dog work and belongs to Alliance of Therapy Dogs. She makes weekly visits to nursing homes with her current therapy dog, Seamus. Kim has two children, Jason and Ross who are married and still live in town. She has three beautiful grandchildren, Blake, Gabi and Brynn. Kim and her husband Keith have shared their house with many animals through the years. Currently there is Pete and Seamus, their two Rottweilers, and a bunch of chickens. In her spare time she is showing her dogs at dog shows, kayaking, walking, gardening, enjoying the outdoors and spending lots of time with her family and teaching the grandchildren her love and knowledge of nature.
